Noodle Doodling
May 11th, 2008
I drew my desk at work the other day and realized what a slob I am.
I enjoy mapping out mundane objects and machinery with this method…trying to capture the nuts and bolts of something complicated without possessing enough practical understanding of how the parts function together. It might be incorrect to use cargo cults as an analogy, but they come to mind.
That’s a pretentious way of saying, “I don’t care about perspective or scale, and I was also too lazy to draw every button on my keyboard.”
In other news, my mini-comic, It’s Sexy When People Know Your Name, is now available at Buenaventura Press, where you can pick up LOTS of other goodies. I’ve been especially digging the latest from Johnny Ryan, Matt Furie, and Souther Salazar.
My little guy:

Full of practical tips for genders of all sizes. Oh, and drawings of noodles.
