Typhoon Haiyan Benefit Auction

I contributed some original artwork to the eBay auctions that Rina Ayuyang is running, and 100% of the proceeds are being donated to the American Red Cross for Typhoon Haiyan relief. There are lots of amazing pieces and rare comics up for auction, check out those listings!

Both of these are pages from my book, My Dirty Dumb Eyes, and have never been offered for sale until now.

Are you famous? — Asked by bobbanzanga

When I was in the first grade, we did this thing for Halloween where we’d bring our costumes to school, change into them at lunchtime, do a little parade, and then change back into regular clothes. I had an awesome tiger costume that my Mom made for me, and for some reason I thought I had to get totally naked to wear it. Plus, I was only seven and my bod wasn’t exactly a huge deal. So: I stripped fully butt-nude in front of the entire class before putting on my tiger suit.

This definitely weirded some people out, but overall, no big ruckus.

Years later, when we were about thirteen, I got word that my classmate Michael was still talking about this day and bragging to people about the time he saw me naked.

WTF Michael??
