Meeting Launchers! Illustration for the New York Times article “Engineering Serendipity.” Thanks to lovely AD Aviva Michaelov.
A very Valentines-themed illustration for the New York Times Townies article, “A Heartbroken Temp at Brides.com.”
Thanks to AD Matt Dorfman, this was a fun one!
Here’s an “organic wedding cake” I made for Guts for Glory, a post-apocalyptic card game created and designed by Zach Gage, Jesse Fuchs, and Jess Worby. All of the cards in the game are weird edible things, I can’t wait to play it!
Most of the awesome cards were illustrated by Jess Worby, but a bunch of artists were commissioned to draw items for a special bonus set. There are more super gross & funny designs by Sam Bosma, Dustin Harbin, Nate Bulmer, and Domitille Collardey.
Read a little more about the project (and see the other special cards) over at Venus Patrol.
“Field Guide to Office Bullies”

The Needy Co-Worker

The Psychopath

The Backstabber

The Alpha Mean Girl

The Don

And The Bathroom Gossip

Thanks to AD Robert Vargas!

I recently illustrated the cover of Patricia Lockwood’s new poetry collection, Balloon Pop Outlaw Black.
Patricia’s best known for her “sext tweets,” which on their own deserve a genius grant and/or Nobel prize, but she’s also an extraordinary long-form poet.

This book is wild and deeply funny!!! A lot of it is about Popeye, so I invented these creatures we’ve been affectionately calling “pupeyes.”

ORDER IT HERE - FREE SHIPPING!

Also here’s something crazy: if this small print run sells out, Patricia will get a tattoo of a pupeye like this one. I’m horrified. Let’s make this happen!?
Illustrations in NYT Sunday Review for this hilarious article by Samantha Bee

Thanks to AD Erich Nagler!

I illustrated this charming children’s book written by Arthur Bradford - it’s about two girls who find a tiny walrus inside a nut shell. Benny’s Brigade is finally here and it’s on sale today in the McSweeney’s store: ORDER A COPY!

Arthur Bradford’s kids interviewed me here about my illustration process, adorable!

For a limited time only, McSweeney’s has a bunch of the original artwork available for purchase, you can check those out here.
New York Times Op-Ed illustration for this article about street fairs and parades. This was a very quick-and-fun turnaround.
Thanks to AD Matt Dorfman!
